SitexOrbis wins £1.5 million in security and clearing contracts
Vacant property management specialist SitexOrbis has won nearly £1.5 million worth of contracts to secure vacant property and perform specialised clearing services.
The contract wins are with three social housing providers: the Arms Length Management Organisation Sandwell Homes, and two councils, Broxtowe Borough Council and Ealing Council.
For existing client Sandwell Homes, SitexOrbis will now also be providing services including house and garden clearance and environmental services, in addition to the flood damage cleaning work that Sandwell Homes recently awarded SitexOrbis.
For new client Broxtowe Borough Council, SitexOrbis will be undertaking house clearances at void properties in the East Midlands. And for existing client Ealing Council, SitexOrbis will be providing security services.
A spokesperson from Ealing Council said: "We are pleased to announce that SitexOrbis has been successful in winning the council's new property security contract. SitexOrbis has successfully delivered the council’s property security requirements for the last few years under the current contract. Ealing Council is looking forward to the financial and operational benefits that it will obtain under the new contract."

SitexOrbis provides conventional and specialist internal and external cleaning and clearance services to 20,000 properties annually. As a licensed waste carrier, the company protects the environment by disposing of waste in a manner that is fully compliant with the Environment Agency regulations. Services include: cleaning and clearing of empty properties including new building sparkle cleans; specialist cleans of drug dens and hypodermic needles, bodily fluids, trauma cleans and others; removal of fly tipping waste including gas bottles, tyres and white goods, compliant with WEEE regulations; pest control; gardening; graffiti removal; and external cleaning.
