Bristol CC renews contract with SitexOrbis

25-Oct-2007

Bristol City Council has renewed a five-year contract estimated to be worth more than £500,000 with SitexOrbis to secure empty properties.

All 'at risk' empty properties across all the Council’s 29,000 homes are to continue to be protected and insured within the contract.

Rob Withey, Technical Investment Manager at Bristol City Council, said: "SitexOrbis' bid was highly competitive. Its staff can now build on their experience within the Bristol area."

The company’s Bristol depot is handling the work to secure, monitor and insure empty property under its Risk Management Insurance, which is designed to help landlords transfer the risk associated with empty properties. SitexOrbis is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
